主要从事抗感染药理学与新药发现研究。研究方向包括新型抗结核、抗革兰氏阴性菌、抗病毒药物的发现以及药物作用新分子机制研究等。2011年至今，共发表相关sci论文15篇，包括pnas，以及全球最主要的抗感染药物杂志antimicrob agents chemother、j antimicrob chemother，申请发明专利3项，2项已授权。近年来作为项目负责人主持了国家自然科学基金面上项目、青年基金、国家重大专项重大新药创制子课题、药物所基本科研业务费团队建设专项等多个项目，并且作为主要研究人员参与了多项国家重大新药创制专项、国家自然科学基金面上项目、科技部改革发展专项项目等。参与编写《小檗碱》、《高等药理学》等专业书籍3部。在2016年度药物研究所“梁周黄于刘青年科技奖”评选中获得一等奖。2017年入选“北京市科技新星”。2018年入选医科院”青年医学人才”项目。
